Big Walk Guide

Big Walk Crossplay: Supported Platforms Explained

Big Walk crossplay is officially supported. Friends using Windows, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 can play together online across those confirmed platforms.

Can you play Big Walk across platforms?

Yes. Big Walk supports cross-platform online play among Windows, macOS, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2 players.

Confirmed crossplay platforms

The official support list includes Windows, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players on different systems within that list can share an online multiplayer session.

Xbox is not on the current platform list, and House House has not announced an Xbox version or Xbox crossplay.

Confirmed platform combinations

Supported combinations include PC with PS5, PC with Nintendo Switch 2, PS5 with Nintendo Switch 2, and Mac with PC. These examples follow from the broader official cross-platform support statement.

Crossplay remains online multiplayer

Crossplay connects friends using different supported systems over the online cooperative mode. It does not establish local multiplayer, couch co-op, offline multiplayer, or split-screen support.

The host creates the world and friends join that online adventure. Big Walk has no random matchmaking, so players still need to organize their group.

Joining, accounts, and cross-save

House House has confirmed cross-platform friend joining but has not published a full account or invitation walkthrough. It has also not announced cross-save support or whether crossplay can be switched off.

The host owns the automatically saved progress and must reopen it for the group to continue.

PS5 and Xbox crossplay status

PS5 crossplay is explicitly confirmed, so PlayStation 5 players can join friends on Windows, macOS, and Nintendo Switch 2. PC cross-platform play is likewise covered by the official four-platform support list.

Xbox is absent from the official platform list, and House House has not announced an Xbox version or Xbox crossplay.
